During a press conference on the current oil crisis, PM Rama declared that in collaboration with the country’s main oil suppliers, he will soon decide on a fixed price for fuels in our country.

“Faced with the current situation, in the next 24 hours, we’ll come out with a normative act – the government will meet with a national board made up of oil distributors and administrators. Every day, it will be you and us, the minister of finance, the minister of infrastructure and energy, the head of Taxes and Customs and the head of the Competition Authority – there will be 5 representatives from you that you yourself will select,’ – said PM Rama while speaking to major oil distributors.

“We won’t allow for any sign to be put up on a gas station that shows a price that hasn’t received prior approval by this board. If someone will get caught doing this, they will lose their license,” – said PM Rama.

In conclusion, the head of state reemphasized that in the next 24 hours, the government will come out with a normative act for both the administration and distribution of fuels in our country.
