Kosovo introduced new sanctions against Russia on Wednesday, following a government meeting on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the new sanctions include freezing bank assets, banning certain individuals from financial markets as well as broadcasting propagandistic media.
The individuals subject to the sanctions will be prohibited from entering the territory of Kosovo.
Euronews Albania asked PM Kurti about the row with Serbia which failed to conclude in an agreement that would allow Kosovo Serbs to vote for their new president, and parliament, from Kosovo.
“Today I learned that they are preparing to rally on Friday. I don’t think this issue calls for protests. I would completely understand if they were to protest against corruption or social issues… but demanding to hold Serbian elections on school premises, it’s not fair. I hereby call on Kosovo Serbs do not to participate in the protests. My door is open for all complaints”, he said.
