Analyst Baton Haxhiu says Prishtina’s stance in denying Serbian elections on its soil means restoring the country’s dignity.
He argued that PM Albin Kurti ‘delivered on what he had promised to his electorate and sealed their trust’.
Haxhiu said that criticisms from the Quint countries were harsh and unnecessary.
“To tell Vucic that he’s on the European path, but Albin isn’t, means that you’re morally weak and politically unstable”, Haxhiu said.
On the other hand, analyst Andi Bushati said that the criticisms of the five Western Powers were to maintain their own interests and ‘butter the Serbian regime’ in face of a Russian threat.
According to him, their message was not really about Kosovo’s decision.
