Protests do not threaten Rama’s power hold in a short-term perspective however, they do degrade the image of his government, said analyst Andi Bushati on tonight’s Shock.
According to him, the protest showed that Rama tends to shift his stance when placed under pressure.
“He went from the government does not control the prices, to actually the government does control the prices. A single tough protest was enough to put the prime minister in contradiction,” he said.
Bushati also said that the crisis managed to show that Rama’s cabinet is basically a puppet.
Analyst Baton Haxhiu sided with Bushati on this, adding that the crisis proved that the minister appointed by Rama are completely unprepared in crisis management.
Haxhiu went on to say that the arrogance coming from Rama’s ministers is a mere effort to imitate Rama.
But according to Haxhiu, the protests did not harm Rama in any way as its organizers lack credibility.
