Analyst Andi Bushati does not believe in the veracity of Socialists calling for the appointment of a consensual president.
According to him, this is a strategy to shift the attention from other problems, such as the price crisis and the drought at Fierza reservoir.
However, returning to the presidential theme, Bushati maintained that the latter might actually be someone entirely anonymous.
“Rama has promoted anonymous people. This type of standard may be applied on all scenarios where Rama has the power to decide”, he said.
But according to analyst Baton Haxhiu, the Socialist Party is starting to build its strategy for the fourth mandate ahead.
He said that Rama would make a mistake if he bargains for the appointment of the head of state.
Haxhiu dismissed the idea of a consensual president among parties, adding that he’d rather see a person with dignity that would be respectful towards the Constitution.
“It would be a mistake to offer a second term to Ilir Meta”, he said.
He sided with Bushati on promoting unknown figures in the government cabinet, adding that at least four or five ministers should have been fired in their third month in office.
