Socialist MP Alqi Bllako has officially renounced his parliamentary mandate. A few moments ago, Bllako submitted his resignation letter to the Assembly.
On Tuesday, Socialist MP Alqi Bllako shared a message on his Facebook page saying that he intends to renounce his seat in parliament, after SPAK’s arrest warrant.
In order for the police to carry out the arrest, the Assembly must first protocol the request submitted by Bllako.
Socialist MP Alqi Bllako and Lefter Koka, serving at the time as environment minister, have allegedly falsified documentation on the type of land where the incinerator was going to be built.
The documentation submitted to the government claimed that the incinerator was going to be built in an area where construction is allowed, but SPAK is saying the opposite.
According to SPAK, the incinerator was built on arable land, which is much cheaper.
The damage to the Albanian state is estimated at around €140,000.
