The Socialist Party decided on Monday to the four year term of the current chairmen of the party’s branches.

They will be replaced in a process that will take place from 1 May to 15 June.

“The current leaders will continue to exercise their duties until the appointment of the new leaders. The party’s presidency and executive secretariat are tasked to enforce this decision”, a statement released by the Socialists read.

The Socialist Party’s Congress is due on April 9.
