Adnan Dibrani, a former refugee from Kosovo, has been been a member of the Swedish Parliament for the past 12 years.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, he says that it is the right time for Kosovo to push forward in its bid to join international organizations.

The Albanian MP was also optimistic about Albania, reiterating that the country has fulfilled all the conditions set out by the European Union to open accession negotiations.

Born in Mitrovica, Dibrani fled war-torn Kosovo when he was only 7-years old. Nearly 20 years after, he was elected as a member of the Parliament of Sweden.
