Around half of Albanian citizens have no information on the government resistance package, 55% said they had heard about it, and 42% had never heard of it.
Among those who knew about the package, a predominant majority of 85% think that the amount is insufficient.
Only 6% of these citizens said to be aware of the government’s measures and see them as sufficient in covering increased prices.
45% of respondents believe that the government is defending the interests of oligarchs and not the people. One in five Albanians (23%) disagree with the statement, and more than one out of four citizens (29%) said that they do not have an opinion on this issue.
According to 38% of the respondents, the best solution for the ongoing crisis is setting a price ceiling. More than one in four Albanians (28%) thinks that the most adequate measure would be to increase salaries, and 24% said raising the retirement pension.
Euronews Albania’s Barometer survey conducted by MRB and Data Centrum was conducted through 1,000 face-to-face interviews from 25 March to 5 April.
