Kosovo marks on Wednesday the National Day of Missing Persons, with more than 1,600 people who remain unaccounted for from the war with Serbia.

On this day, Kosovo also commemorates the 23 Anniversary of the Meje Massacre in Gjakova where 376 men were brutally killed by Serb forces.

The government of Kosovo and organizations representing the missing people called on Serbia to give more information about the fate of those who disappeared during the war.

Until today, Serbia has concealed any information and denied any wrongdoing.

President Vjosa Osmani said on Wednesday that there will be justice only when the families of some 1,600 people discover the fate of their loved ones, and those responsible will be put in front of justice.
