The EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi met on Wednesday in Skopje with PM Dimitar Kovacevski.
In a message shared on social media, Varhelyi posted photos from his meeting with Kovacevski, adding that he’s committed to launching negotiations with North Macedonia before the termination of the French rotation EU Council presidency.
According to him, ‘there is no time to lose‘ amid calls to step up procedures on launching accession negotiations.

On April 28, Varhelyi will visit Tirana, where he will meet PM Edi Rama to discuss the integration process.
