The European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi visited Tirana on Thursday.
He began his visit at the vetting institutions, reiterating full support from the European Union.
Varhelyi urged to halt attacks on vetting bodies while adding that the integrity of judges and prosecutors is “key to Albania’s European future”.

The top EU official’s visit to Tirana comes after a tour around the Western Balkans and concludes with a meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama.
