The number of people getting the COVID-19 jab in Albania has been on the decline.
According to data provided by the Ministry of Health for the Good Morning Show on Euronews Albania, the total amount of jabs administered in January is 186,716.
96,121 vaccine doses were administered in February and 60,117 in March.
In January, 61,335 citizens got their first COVID-19 shot, 19,500 in February, and 10,554 in March.

In regards to the second shots, 70,300 were administered in January, 42,508 in February, and 20,583 in March.

The number of people getting a third jab, also known as the booster dose, has also been declining.

In January, 55,081 doses were administered, 34,113 in February, and 28,980 in March.
A few days ago, the Experts Committee announced that it had recommended lifting several measures, including rules to wear a mask in indoor areas.
Also, citizens entering Albanian soil from any border crossing will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test.
The committee also decided to lift a ban that restricted music in bars and nightclubs after 11 PM.
Albania currently has 400 active COVID-19 cases.
