The Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried is currently in a meeting with DP floor leader Enkelejd Alibeaj, deputy leader Jorida Tabaku and the party’s general secretary Gazment Bardhi.

The meeting is taking place at the headquarters of the Albanian Parliament.

It was reported that Gabriel Escobar, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs, and US Ambassador Yuri Kim are also at the meeting.

Earlier in the day, Donfried met PM Rama at the Prime Minister’s Office, in a meeting that reportedly lasted 90 minutes.
