Shkodra Mayor Bardh Spahia said on Saturday that the National Assembly of the Democratic Party will pave the way to winning the 2023 local polls.

In his speech at the Assembly taking place at the Palace of Congresses, Bardhi said that it is DP’s responsibility to sweep victory in other cities as well, referring to the March 6 local elections where Democrats were able to secure the mayoral post.

“I am deeply convinced that this Assembly will pave the way for the victory of the Democratic Party in the upcoming local elections. We have a historic responsibility to win Tirana, Durres, Elbasan, and other cities, just like we did with Shkodra. Today that is more possible than ever. All that’s left is to commit ourselves to that goal”, said Spahia.
