The National Assembly of the Democratic Party called by the Refoundation Commission discharged Enkelejd Alibeaj as floor leader.
The National Council that is set to be voted on Saturday will elect the new floor leader.
“As per the statute of the Democratic Party on the organization and functioning of the DP’s parliamentary group, as proposed by the Refoundation Commission, the Assembly ruled to announce the post of the floor leader as vacant”, Kellici said.
The Refoundation Commission led by Berisha will vote for electing the new leader of the Democratic Party on May 22.
The decision was made on Saturday at the National Assembly taking place at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana.
