Thirty employees from the Fier waste incinerator plant protested on Saturday over four months of unpaid arrears.
Allegedly, the private company contracted has not been paying the workers for the past three months, while payment for a fourth month is to be paid by the state.
Now they are warning to put up a blockade at the waste disposal site, the only department that is still operating at the Fier incinerator plant.
In the last 30 days, the incinerator is being administered by the office for the management of seized properties.
