The parliamentary group of the Democratic Party will convene Thursday at 5 PM.
MPs are set to discuss the presidential election process after some of them attended on Wednesday a session organized by the Speaker of the Assembly.
The meeting was called by the party’s floor leader Enkelejd Alibeaj.
However, Democrat MP Luciano Boci is calling on other MPs to disregard Alibeaj’s call, as the latter was ‘discharged’ from the post at the Assembly held on April 30.
Meanwhile, the Socialist Party’s floor leader said during a visit to Fier that the new head of state must be someone who has the approval of the people.
