Taulant Balla accused Sali Berisha of aiding the Serbian army led by Slobodan Milosevic during the Srebrenica Massacre in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“In July 1995, Berisha, who was our president at the time, was directly involved in aiding Serbia’s military machinery of Milosevic and the repercussions that genocide served in Bosnia and Kosovo”, Balla said.
Balla’s comments came on Wednesday from outside the Assembly, after a group pf MPs proposed a case to condemn the genocide that took place in Srebrenica.
“Albania has condemned this massacre and we’ve welcomed all the verdicts ruled by The Hague on its authors. We’ve had a discussion with the proponent and I’ve said that this is a matter which belongs to all parties”, Balla concluded.
