51% of Albanians do not know who is representing their district in the Albanian parliament.

MPs are more recognized by their Socialist electorate (58.7%), compared to Democrats (50.4%).

Four in five Albanians (75%) were not contacted in any sort of way by the candidate wishing to represent them in parliament, ahead of the 2021 polls. Even more people (80%) were never contacted by their parliamentary representatives after the elections.

The number of Socialist and Democrat voters who had been contacted by candidates ahead of the last polls was almost the same: 30.5% from the Socialist camp and 28% from the Democrats.

After the formation of the current legislative branch, only 16% of Socialists, and 12% from Democrats, said to have been contacted by the member of parliament representing their respective districts.

The findings of Barometer on Euronews Albania were presented following a nationwide survey carried out by MRB and Data Centrum, based on 1,000 face-to-face interviews conducted from April 25 to May 7.
