The Albanian government will subsidize 30% of construction materials costs in public works contracts.
Exclusive sources told Euronews Albania that the government plans to pass a normative act intended to increase by €80 million state budget expenditures on capital investments.
The main sectors that will benefit from the fund are companies contracted to build roads and for the post-earthquake reconstruction.
Government subsidies will be provided for building materials such as iron, bitumen, and cement for contracts dating from January 2020.
