The Independent Qualification Commission (KPK) has officially discharged the Judge of Elbasan’s District Court, Enkeleda Kapedani.
The decision was made after the judge wasn’t able to pass the vetting process.
Kapedani was also part of an investigation by the ILD, due to what was deemed inappropriate social media posts, which included videos of the Judge posted mainly on Tik Tok, which later resulted in her dismissal from the High Judicial Council.
Her selfie-style videos showed the judge within court premises, accompanied by inappropriate rap music in the background.
After being published on her social media account, they spurred a massive backlash from citizens and professionals calling for repercussions due to what they claimed was a violation of the Code of Ethics.
This was the reason why she was dismissed 6 months ago, from which point she was ascribed a minimum wage.
