Police officers arrested Ismail Morinaj this Wednesday in Kukes. The 40-year-old had been declared wanted by the Local Directory of the Durres Police.

The Durres District Court convicted Morinaj with 5 months and 12 days in prison on charges of ‘Production and possession of firearms and ammunition.

Previously, Tirana’s District Court had decided to release Morina on bail.

Ismail Morinaj also known as Ballist Morina, is widely recognized for flying a drone in the middle of the game between Albania and Serbia, at the Belgrade stadium on October 14, 2014.

The drone held a flag showing the map of ethnic or Greater Albania, which caused a major backlash in Serbia, which resulted in the nullification of the game.
