The leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha referred to Albania on Tuesday as the “only country in Europe, after Belarus, to be led by a monist regime”.
In a meeting with representatives from small businesses, Berisha declared that every state institution has been seized by the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
“After Lukashenko’s Belarus, we’re absolutely the only country in Europe with an entire monist regime”, Berisha said.
“From the doorman to the Chief Justice of the High and Constitutional Courts. All are under the claws of a single party. We’ve returned to monism. A regime based on the total seizure of all powers by a single party”, Berisha added.
According to the leader of the Democrats, the situation will only deteriorate if people don’t take the streets to protest.
‘Small business will compile DP’s program on fiscal package’
Among other things, DP leader Sali Berisha discussed the main problems encountered in the sector with representatives of small businesses.
Berisha vowed that the party’s fiscal package program will be set up by representatives from this sector in order to achieve a positive outcome.
According to him, they have better knowledge and experience to come up with the best program possible.
“I’m here today to tell you that DP’s program on the business climate will be built by you. You have the experience, the experts, and all the possibilities to give to the country, and Albanian businesses, the best program possible”, Berisha said.
