Democratic MP, Genc Polli, stated that the Open Balkan initiative goes against the Euro Atlantic spirit.
According to him, Albania should withdraw from this initiative as soon as possible.
“In the uttermost essence of its propaganda, it’s difficult to oppose Open Balkan. But, the problem lies with the fact that first and foremost, this initiative was formulated in a city with revanchist and extreme nationalistic tendencies like Belgrade,” – said Pollo during his interview for Euronews Albania’s ‘SOT’ with Jonida Shehu.
In addition, he said that Open Balkan is unnecessary and useless at a time when we already had a much better alternative like the Berlin Process which accompanies our integration process into the European Union.
