Ministers from the Albanian and Kosovar governments will meet this Monday in Prishtina to sign several agreements.
The meeting will be headed by PM Edi Rama and PM Albin Kurti.
This is the eighth intergovernmental meeting, subsequent to the meeting last November.
PM Rama and some of the ministers from his cabinet arrived in Kosovo on Sunday, where they met with key businesses engaged in the export sector.
During the visit, Rama declared that Albania will lift custom tariffs for goods arriving from Kosovo.
“We’re in an advanced phase to completely remove custom tariffs on all goods coming from Kosovo. These are unnecessary barriers. Their financial impact is less important to us as a state, than the facilitation that we need to create for all the exporters to Albania”, said the head of government.
In the afternoon, PM Rama also went to visit the family of former president Hashim Thaci, who is currently awaiting trial for war crimes at The Hague.
