Prime Minister Edi Rama said he spoke to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski over the upcoming EU summit due in Brussels on June 23.
In a status shared on Twitter, Rama said he expects another ‘No’ from the EU.
Rama blamed Bulgaria’s veto for the deadlock.
We discussed today at length with Serbia's and North Macedonia's leaders about the upcoming EU Summit. It seems that another "No,sorry!" is gonna be what we will hear at the end! The whole Union kidnapped by Bulgaria it is not a good spectacle to watch! What to do there?!

The high-level conference with the Western Balkans will take place a day before the European Council meeting on June 23-24 which will determine whether to open negotiations with Tirana and Skopje.
Albania and North Macedonia expect to receive a green light on opening accession talks, which requires Bulgaria to lift its veto, while Kosovo is eyeing visa liberalization.
