The EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi reiterated that the Western Balkans should be ‘part of the European Union’.

Varhelyi called on Bulgaria to adopt the proposal in order to clear the path to negotiations for Tirana and Skopje.
We urge 🇧🇬 Parl & all parties to fulfill their engagement & to put the proposal on 🇲🇰 & 🇦🇱 on agenda of Parl for approval today as proposed. Opposition #GERB @BoykoBorissov already showed leadership by putting the proposal on table. We need everybody to do same. EU needs to move.
