A 31-year-old man was arrested on Monday following a police operation coded ‘Transit 26’.
The man known by his initials E.U was caught in the act near Casa Italia shopping mall in Tirana as he was transporting 6 illegal migrants.
They had paid the suspect to take them to Montenegro and then cross them to an EU country.
The migrants were also charged with ‘Illegal crossing of a state border’.
