Prime Minister Edi Rama and his staff have responded to a call from the Red Cross to donate blood for people in need.
Under the motto “Join efforts and Save Lives” a mobile unit was installed at the Prime Minister’s Office for those employees who wanted to donate blood.
“Children are the most important, the thing is to explain to people that donating blood is good for the health, as they don’t know that”, PM Rama said.
This year’s campaign seeks to raise awareness of the importance of volunteering for blood donation as a way to save lives.
