The number of new COVID-19 cases has soared in the last few days.
The Ministry of Health said 581 citizens tested positive this Wednesday, of which 329 were in Tirana.
Nationwide active cases are estimated at around 2,528, while 21 are being treated in hospitals.
However, there were no reported deaths for the day.
