The Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, called on Albanians to join the opposition’s protest on July 7.
In a press conference, Berisha emphasized that young Albanians are leaving the country because of Rama’s poor governance.
“On July 7 at 19:00, we will protest in the name of change for our country. Today, Albania is the nation that raises its children to become immigrants. Our youth are leaving the same way they would if there was an ongoing civil conflict back home. In all our meetings, I have found a common call that stems from the depths of Albanian people’s souls so join our protest.
Edi Rama has instilled his complete communist rule. He has fully returned to the rolemodel of his ancestors in order to gain control of the entire government. That is why my call for you today goes to all citizens, farmers, businessmen, lawyers, notaries, everyone, let us join forces in this protest in order to save Albania. This is the citizens protest!” said Berisha.
