For the third year in a row, Kosovo is holding the humanitarian mini-marathon titled ‘Run for Autism 2022’
The 5-km marathon began at the main square ‘Ibrahim Rugova’ in Prishtina and gathered hundreds of citizens, including politicians and other well-known personalities with the aim of raising awareness amongst children with autism, reports KosovaPress.
Meanwhile, all funds generated from the participants in the marathon will go towards supporting children with autism.
“We did this to help children that suffer from this disease. It has turned into a tradition. This will be the 3rd edition and there will definitely be many more. I believe that there should be more activities like this as a sign of contribution that should also raise awareness for marginalized groups,” – he said.
