2 citizens lost their lives in the past 24 hours in Albania.

The ministry of health said that 2.103 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours which confirmed a total of 947 new infections, the majority of whom in Tirana (424), Durres (70), Fier (53), Shkoder (45), Vlore (35), etc.

There are currently 4.777 active COVID patients in the entire country, 26 of whom have been hospitalized.

The victims were a 52-year-old from Lezha and 74-year-old from Berat.
