This afternoon journalist Kastriot Myftaraj reportedly jumped from the 4th floor of his apartment building in the Ali Demi neighborhood in Tirana.
The police have reported that Myftaraj passed away as a result of the injuries from the fall.
Sources say that Myftaraj had been diagnosed with cancer around a week ago and was in a distressed psychological state.
Investigators are currently at the scene to collect any evidence that will be laid out in an official report.
