One of today’s opposition protesters, Bled Marku, is calling on Albanians to join the protest after accusing the Rama administration of “stealing people’s properties”.
“The ones who have gathered here today, are free Albanians, who aren’t afraid of that man. I’ve been protesting for the past 11 months, ever since he demolished my home. Like me, there are many in Astir, Paskuqan, Lapraka, 5 Maji. I call on every single person whose property was taken from them to protest until this man gets out of here,” – said Bled Marku.
The opposition’s protest began at 19:00 and is now taking place before the Prime Minister’s Office.
The main motives for today’s protest were rising prices, issues with private property, and mass migration.
