Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha called last night’s protest organized by the opposition the most grandiose to take place in Albania in the last 30 years.
While calling protestors ‘missionaries’, the chief democrat said that the ones who joined yesterday’s protest weren’t there for the sake of Berisha but in order to fulfill a single mission which is to overthrow Edi Rama.
“Last night, at Deshmoret e Kombit Blvd, all those who came from all corners and neighborhoods of Tirana and Albania, weren’t there because of Sali Berisha. They weren’t there simply to protest for the sake of a protest. They were there as missionaries, as humans, men, women, young girls, and boys who were fulfilling a mission. In this aspect, the strength of this grandiose rally isn’t just extraordinary. It is atomic. It’s humane and atomic,” – said Berisha.
According to Berisha, the ones who came out yesterday were part of the pure and organic opposition, calling it the bio-opposition.
This, said Berisha, is the reason why in the end we didn’t have to say what comes next because everyone knows what comes next.
