Member of DP’s National Council and former MP, Rudina Hajdari, declared that Lulzim Bashas shouldn’t make a return as leader of this political force.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, Hajdari said that whoever thinks that is simply mistaken.
In regards to the return of former PM Sali Berisha as DP leader, Hajdari pointed out that he knows how to win.
“Mr. Basha shouldn’t return to the Democratic Party’s leadership. This is my opinion. He is an MP, and he can still give his contribution. But whoever thinks that Mr. Basha could make a comeback, I believe that they are totally mistaken because he has failed. Mr. Berisha has been PM twice, he has been president twice and he has shown that he knows how to come to power,” – said Hajdari.
Moreover, according to Hajdari, the protest organized yesterday by the opposition is an excellent example of peace as well as a test that the Democratic Party was able to pass successfully.
