The Democratic Party can only come back to power through clean public figures who haven’t had a past in this political force.

This is what Democratic MP Dashnor Sula said during an interview for Euronews Albania.

According to him, the former party leader can not be the only one to blame but high party officials are also responsible.

“I believe that the Democratic Pary should come to power. But how can this be achieved? Through clean public figures; figures who don’t have a past. You can not just antagonize Mr. Basha. They have been accusing Basha like he was the only one who made mistakes. Where were the secretaries, the leadership or other high party structures? They are the same ones who went back and filled in all the high posts. Where is the change then,” said Sula.
