Whoever started their summer holiday or is looking to do something different during the evenings, should definitely make cultural activities part of their agenda.
Concerts, shows, and art exhibitions will be taking place during the month of July starting from Shkoder in northern Albania, all the way to Himara, in the south.
For everyone that is currently in Shkoder, the National Photography Museum ‘Marubi’ is holding Jutta Benzenberg’s photography exhibition, which documents Albania through photos and stories the German artist has been collecting over the years.
In Durres, the 17th Edition of the city’s Music Festival will take place. Like in previous years, the goal is to promote the culture and history of the coastal city.
Groups from Austria, Germany, and Italy will be performing at the Archeological Museum of Durres as well as on the Cape of Rodon.
Violinist Olen Cezari will be opening the festival of the Porto Palermo Castle in southern Albania on July 16, which will go on until July 31, bringing together renowned international and Albanian artists.
Gjon Mili Jazz and Blues Festival will also take place in the city of Korca, with the goal of bridging the gap between world history and Albanian music and photography. From July 15-16.
During the month of July, the capital city will host a series of events dedicated to Albanian cinematography. In the movie theater of the Central State Film Archive, the program KINOJone will continue with a series of films that will be updated on their official page.
In Pogradec, the show ‘Vallja e Yjeve’ / Dance of the Starts, will bring together music and poetry artists and include a night completely dedicated to the renowned poet that was born and raised in this city, Lasgush Poradeci.
On July 18, the National Museum of Kosovo will bring an archeological exhibition to the National Museum of Tirana.
