On the 27th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre, Kosovo’s PM Albin Kurti stated that the damage caused by the genocide can’t be repaired but it should at least be accepted and recognized.

“The damage caused by the Srebrenica genocide is multifold. It goes beyond the 8.273 men and boys that were killed. Beyond the 30 thousand children and seniors that were abused and violently forced out of their homes. The damage caused is transferred from one year to the next through the pain of mothers, the tears of sisters, the traumas that were experienced, the uncontrollable pain,” stated the head of Kosovo’s government.

In addition, Kurti highlighted that to this day, the Srebrenica genocide is being shamelessly denied by Serbia.

“And each day that goes by, we keep rubbing salt into the victim’s wounds for each day that the Srebrenica genocide continues to be shamelessly denied by Serbia,” – wrote Kurti.
