Prime Minister Edi Rama declared from the Open Balkan summit currently taking place in Belgrade that not only the countries of the region but also countries such as Turkey, Greece, Italy and Hungary should join this initiative.

“Turkey, Turkey’s an irreplaceable partner, and the Foreign Minister of Hungary as well is a friend of ours. We have also invited the foreign ministers of Italy and Greece, who for objective reasons, expressed their inability to be here today through an elegant excuse, but they will be invited again for the next summit set to take place in Tirana. For us, it is important that not only the countries of the region join this initiative, but also such important countries like Turkey, Greece or even Italy and Hungary on the other side,” said Rama.
