German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and French President Emmanuel Macron, have also written a letter to the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, after the one sent to the Serbian President, Aleksander Vucic.
In the letter published by the government of Kosovo, the 2 important European leaders inform Kurti of the decision to assign their foreign policy and security advisors, Jens Plötner and Emmanuel Bonne, to support Miroslav Lajcak in his efforts for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
Kurti has also been asked to be prepared for difficult decisions, regarding the issue of normalizing relations with Serbia.
Scholz and Macron conveyed the same message to Serbian President Aleksander Vucic earlier today, through a letter referencing the need to focus on ultimately resolving the dialogue with Kosovo.
Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz emphasized that the full normalization of relations between Belgrade and Prishtina is essential for the stability of the Western Balkans.
