Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu inspected the new Laci hospital, this Monday.
The hospital has been considered a model project, for other municipal hospitals in the country.
The Prime Minister also promised that the salaries of doctors and nurses will undergo another increase while adding that he wishes that the government will soon have good news for pensioners as well.
“I just want to thank our friends from the Church who were present today and blessed this hospital. On that occasion, I also took a few drops of water that I hope will bring me good luck. With the certainty that after the salaries were increased once again for you, we will continue to increase them again and move beyond the difficulties we have, because it is important that in this critical phase, we continue to offer our support. Salaries will continue to increase for all those who work in the health sector, and I hope that soon we will have good news for pensioners as well, even though we will always be indebted to them”, said Rama.
Moreover, Rama underlined that new doctors will be starting work at the Laci Hospital.
“Not everyone leaves [the country], young doctors will be starting work at the Laçi Hospital. I hope that we will be able to get more votes in Laçi. We have an obligation to guarantee service for you, regardless of how many of you vote for us. We have worked hard to revive this area”, he concluded.
