Analyst Andi Bushati stated that the media in Albania do not threaten national security if they publish the data extracted by Iranian hackers.

In Euronews Albania’s ‘SOT’, Bushati said that national security is finished, seeing that our state data is in the hands of Iranian hackers.

“What can threaten national security? An online media in Shkoder that publishes them – when Iran, which [you] consider an enemy power – has taken ahold of them? Our national security is done for; it’s finished. Here, they want to stop citizens from finding out, but let Iran find out since they were able to steal them. Citizens shouldn’t know that Iran actually took these. It’s just another propaganda measure”, he claimed.

Tirana’s District Prosecutor has made the decision to ban all media and all news agencies from publishing stolen state data leaked by the Iranian hackers that led the cyberattack against our country this September.
