The Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, has declared that very soon the world will be engulfed in a military conflict, which according to him has not been seen since the Second World War.
In an interview with Serbian Radio and Television from New York, where he is participating in the proceedings of the UN General Assembly, Vucic emphasized that the war in Ukraine is very likely to turn from a local conflict into a global one.
“I think we are going to go from a special military operation to a major war and the question is where the red line will be. We are going to enter a large-scale global conflict the likes of which we haven’t seen since World War II in the next one or two months,” Vucic declared.
The head of the Serbian state also underlined that the position of Serbia is even more serious, since the role of the UN in the world has been weakened by the great powers, which according to him want everything for themselves and ‘de facto’ have destroyed the order of the Nations United in recent decades.
“For us who are small and who want to guarantee security for our citizens, this is not good news and I expect that things will become even more complicated between the West and the Russian Federation and also between the West and China,” Vucic said.
As for Kosovo, he added that soon there will be other countries that will recognize its independence, although he did not specify which ones they would be.
