The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, said that between him and the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, there is no rivalry for the leadership of the opposition.
In a statement to the media from DP’s headquarters, Berisha said that he will coordinate with the Freedom Party for the opposition’s action plan.
“There is no kind of rivalry between us. Meetings are held, they are public and private. I am convinced that we will have very good relations and coordination with the Freedom Party. In the upcoming season, we’ll be on the same wave, we will take all the necessary steps for the success of our protests”, said the head of DP.
Regarding the next steps of the opposition, Berisha underlined that it is necessary to work on sustainable protests and strikes.
