Earlier today, legal representatives of the “Zubeyde Hanim” Kindergarten addressed the Administrative Court of First Instance, where they requested that the Ministry of Education withdraw the decision to close down this private enterprise.

At 2:00 p.m., court hearings began regarding the decision of the Ministry of Education.

Outside the premises of the court, there were also parents of children who were enrolled in this kindergarten and they told Euronews Albania that the decisions should be reviewed.

We were informed the moment they were all announced by the media. The interference is blatant, and senseless. The interest of the public should be assessed, there are over 250 children who do not know where to go tomorrow”, said a parent.

According to the Ministry of Education, the closure was made on the grounds of a serious violation of the license. The building where the activity was carried out was not equipped with the relevant authorization from the ministry
