A minor who stayed at the “Vangjel Pulla” orphanage in Saranda told “SOT” on Euronews Albania about an episode when she was raped.

She recounted one of the days when the teachers were putting her to sleep and the young girl couldn’t fall asleep.

Just because she didn’t want to sleep, the teacher hit her on the leg with a wooden stick.

The minor indicated that there had been many occasions when she had reacted to the violence against her younger sister.

Meanwhile, the mother of 3 children, two girls and a boy, reported the case of rape to the police.

The girl also indicated that she had often complained to the educators about her friends, but they “acted as if they just forgot about it”, while the complaints about the educators to the director of the orphanage fell on deaf ears.
