The government has opened a call for all companies interested in selling water heating panels, as part of their energy saving campaign.

First-hand importers or large distributors of solar panels for water heating are invited to take advantage of the Government’s pilot program for subsidizing up to 70 % of the cost of purchasing and installing these panels.

Companies must guarantee panels for 7 years and deposits for 5 years. According to the criteria established by the Agency for Energy Efficiency, the offer should not be higher than 140,000 Lek without VAT, or 168,000 Lek with VAT.

2 000 families will benefit from this program, while the Government has left the door open for the possibility that it could be renewed if it ends up being considered successful.
